Blue vervain is a pretty native wildflower of meadows, shores and marshes. It is a good attractor of pollinators, and the seeds are eaten by a variety of songbirds. Grows 2-6 feet tall. Numerous, pencil-like flower spikes branch upwards like the arms of a candelabra. Each flower spike has a ring of blue-purple flowers.

These plants were grown from seed harvested in Unity, NH. 1 gallon pot.
